Introducing the new International Awarding China Team 18 May 2011

SQA is delighted to announce that Eunice McAllister has joined the International Awarding Team as the International Regional Manager, responsible for SQA business in China and South East Asia.

Eunice joins the team from within SQA where she was Business Development Manager for Glasgow in the Business Development and Customer Support Department.  Eunice brings with her a wealth of knowledge and experience, including marketing and languages (she is looking forward to learning some Chinese!), and is a very welcome addition to the team.

Toni Yang, Business Development Manager, is our SQA Representative based in Beijing and will report to Eunice and will focus on customer support and business growth in China.  Toni and Eunice will also work together to support existing centres and develop business in South East Asia.

Eunice and Toni will work closely alongside the staff in the International Awarding team who will continue to support our centres and partners in China.

Mary Gao, Quality Enhancement Manager, and SQA’s Representative based in Beijing, is now working directly with the Operations Department within SQA. Mary will continue her quality assurance role and liaise with the Operations Department on matters relating to registration, entries, certification and quality assurance.  This transfer ensures our centres in China will continue to receive good customer service and support in all aspects of quality assurance.

Aisling Kelly will continue in her role as International Administrator, supporting Eunice, Toni and Mary on all aspects of our work in China.

All teams in SQA will continue to liaise to ensure centres in China receive the best possible service from SQA.

The appointment of Eunice and realignment of staff in the International Awarding team and Operations team will help SQA to focus on improving the service we offer our centres in China, thereby helping us to maximise our business development opportunities in a region with real potential for SQA.
