Qualification Verification Summary Reports

Qualification Verification Summary Reports (QVSRs) summarise the verification activity from the previous twelve months. Each report highlights areas of good practice and areas that require improvement. Use the reports as an improvement tool for SQA qualifications.

How to use the reports

  1. Arrange subject meetings to share with the teachers, assessors and internal verifiers for the subject grouping.

  2. Discuss the report and think about what actions you can take:
    • Can you adopt some of the good practice reported? 
    • Can you change how you deliver, assess or verify a subject, based on any weaknesses highlighted?
  3. Take minutes at the meetings Keep a note of your discussions and actions. The minutes are evidence of reviewing practices during Qualification Verification events.
