Qualification Verification Summary Reports (QVSRs) are produced every year and summarise verification activity that has taken place. Each report highlights good practice and areas that need improvement. The reports can be used as a continuous improvement tool for the SQA qualifications you deliver.
How you use QVSRs:
For each subject report, set up a meeting and invite the teachers, assessors and internal verifiers for the subject.
Identify what you can learn from the report, and what actions your centre will take.
Can you adopt some of the good practice reported?
Can you change how you deliver, assess or verify a subject, based on any weaknesses highlighted?
Keep a note of what you discussed and the actions you agreed. These minutes can be evidence of reviewing practices during Qualification Verification events.
