The Scottish Qualifications Authority (SQA) is an international leader in education and training.
We provide products and services in skills, training and education which positively impact on individuals, organisations and society.
With 100 years’ experience in developing qualifications and qualification systems plus 20 years’ experience of working internationally in partnership with governments, colleges, universities, schools and industry we offer your organisation a full range of services.
Our work in China
Our qualifications are developed with industry experts. They provide relevant skills and experience; and advanced University entry.
SQA’s diploma programme is the largest foreign higher education programme in China. Our qualifications have been helping Chinese students achieve their potential since 2003.
Can I offer the SQA Diploma?
SQA works exclusively with CSCSE (Chinese Service Centre for Scholarly Exchange) for the delivery of the SQA Diploma in China. Any new centre must first get the recommendation for approval from CSCSE.
Once CSCSE has recommended you for approval, your college/university then applies for centre and qualification approval from SQA.

Entry to university
The most popular choice for students is to go to on to a degree in a university. If you complete an SQA Advanced Diploma you can apply to university. The university also requires evidence of English language ability.
